It was so hard to get up at 4:30 again this morning, but I did it because I had to. Daycare was a bit better today, since we only had 13 of the 16 students there (3 and 4 year olds again). Three less does make a difference. Plus, it was better for me because I took a long break from 9:45 – 12:15 to play doubles tennis with my Friday Tennis group. When I got back, they were going down for nap, which I know I have mentioned is the hardest part of the day. We had extra teachers helping, so it went much smoother. Then, it was a matter of staying awake while watching them sleep before getting them up and serving snack. Nothing real exciting happened today. I just got lots of hugs and they didn’t want to let me leave. πŸ™‚

After I got home, I went down and did a treadmill walk to keep the streak going.

Stats for the day: Walked 1.0 mile in 15:48 minutes for a 3.8 mph pace.

  1. “…but I did it because I had to”

This! How many things have I done for this reason alone!? πŸ˜€

Sounds like a good day, especially with your tennis break… Does that make ‘surviving’ the afternoon difficult or are you one of those ‘tennis gives me energy’ people?
